The fit of the Sportiva Ultra Raptor II is a specific wide. This gives plenty of room in the toe box for all foot shapes to accommodate different sock choices as well as leave room for toes to swell a little as they sometimes do on long adventures. The in-step and heel still locks your foot in incredibly secure so you have full support and the mid rise ankle serves to reinforce this even more.
